A Call To Prayer And Fasting

The events that happened during the Feet-Washing and Communion Service did not just end. The congregation felt a strong conviction and leading from the Lord. His wonderful works are starting to manifest and everyone felt an unexplainable sense of joy. It is as if He is working with haste now to prepare the Bride of Christ for His coming. And on our part, we began preparing, as the Lord lead us, by praying and fasting for 3 days. Bro. Lito quoted Scripture in Joel 2:15-17 on Wednesday Night Service. "Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly. Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts. Let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, 'Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them.' Wherefore should they say among the people, 'Where is their God?'" And with that, a lot of us prayed and fasted. For 3 days, we endured the pains and hardships of praying and fasting because we are hopeful that by our deeds, the Lord will pour down His Holy Spirit to anoint us, will consecrate us and will deem us worthy to be called the Bride of Christ. We ended the fast by gathering together in church on Saturday afternoon, praying and praising His name. Oh what a day it was. It is always good to be in the presence of the Lord.

Communion and Feetwashing Service

January 29, 2012 - The afternoon service leading to the Feet-Washing and Communion Service was a very memorable day for the church. A brother during the testimony portion expressed that he has been bothered for weeks now by a vision of some sort that there are two men in the church who are hiding in the veil of sin while attending church service regularly. He did not reveal who these men were but when Bro. Lito Ramoso started preaching after, he was led by the Spirit of God to call upon these men to come and confess their sins before the church to "come clean". He called upon a missionary brother who has recently committed concubinage during the time of his mission. That brother, who was initially reluctant and defensive, convicted himself and confessed his sins before many, asking forgiveness for his transgressions. Everyone started forgiving him, hugging him in love.

The service was about to end so Bro. Lito called on for the last brother to confess but the call ran through every ear and many, not just one brother, came to confess and ask forgiveness. One brother confessed that he is a slave to pornography and that he seldom reads the Bible despite having a couple of times preached before the pulpit. A sister confessed that she has committed pre-marital sex at the time she was regularly attending church. Another sister confessed that she was once a slave to gambling. Another brother confessed that he is a slave to the attraction of women and that he felt that the Music Ministry, which he is part of, no longer is a blessing to him because of boisterousness and rollicking within the Music Ministry. And many came forth asking forgiveness for whatever sins that have committed and everyone forgave those who bravely came forward to expose the works of the devil. Tears of joy ran that beautiful day. And joy ran throughout the Feet-Washing and Communion Service that night.

As a result of this, a brother leading the Music Ministry disbanded the music team. Bro. Lito dissolved the Offices of the Deacons and Youth Ministry because of ineffectiveness. He encouraged everyone to be steadfast and strong. The events that unfolded only prove that the devil has no hold on the church. And this is just the beginning of our preparation to meet Christ in the rapture.

UPDATE: February 1, 2012 - The young people of the church were called up to elect a new Youth Leader worthy to lead the youth in their walk with Christ. After having been nominated, Bro. Nelson "Tiwit" Pisien Jr. emotionally accepted the privilege, expressing his humbleness to. Bro. Joelmar Guardario became Assistant Youth Leader. May the good Lord bless the Youth Ministry.

UPDATE: February 12, 2012 - After a meeting, 11 brothers and a sister applied for the Music Ministry. All applications are pending evaluation. Bro. Lito impressed upon the applicants the need to be punctual and committed with the Ministry. He also advised them to sit on the front after every time they play so that they will get to hear the Word of God every time. This is because he noticed that in every church he visits, and sometimes in our church, the Music Team is almost always not present to attend the "actual service". They only come to "church" when they are called to play and leave the premises during the service. He also decided to move the instruments down from the stage to the side to avoid worshipers from getting distracted by the Music Team's antics on stage, which might prevent the Holy Spirit from flowing during the service. May God bless the Music Ministry.
